A supercharger protruding through the hood is the car`s most iconic feature. Three circular intake valves open and close in sync with throttle input, drawing in air. That scene is one of those unforgettable on-screen moments.
Lift the massive hood to see the hallmark of American muscle, the V8 engine. The chrome-finished engine bay is a sight to behold, with red plug wires and blue hoses adding striking accents that elevate the whole setup.
The car features a set of eight race-inspired gauges, including a tachometer and speedometer, along with a Grant GT steering wheel. In addition to these elements, the die-cast model also faithfully reproduces the detailed switches on the center console.
Opening the door reveals a robust roll cage that not only provides safety but also significantly increases body rigidity. Reminiscent of an American stock-car racer, the contrast against the black body is striking.
Safety fuel tank is installed inside the trunk. Behind it sits an Optima battery—relocated from the engine bay—with its characteristic high efficiency and high current output. These details are close to full race-car specifications.
Tires play a crucial role in effectively transferring the V8`s power. This die-cast model reproduces the drag-spec tires as well as the reinforced shock absorbers. Although the exhaust isn`t visible, the real car uses a straight-through layout that exits beneath the chassis.
